Why the Info window doesn't open when I launch FB2P?
FB2P writes in the preference file if the Info window was open when you last time quit it. It also remembers the size of the main window and the Info window.
How come I can see a large picture from one picture file and only a thumbnail from another although they both are same type and created by same application?
It's very likely that FB2P needs to have more memory. FB2P tries first to open the picture file. If it is too big comparing to the memory it has, it tries to open the thumbnail. If there isn't a thumbnail, it tells you that you should increase the memory for FB2P.
Can I add to the list of Type and Creator codes? And remove the ones I don't use?
Yes you can. Every time you use the new codes they are saved by the program and when you quit they are saved in the preference file. If you don't need one, press the option button and select that one in the menu. You don't see it any more when you reopen the menu.
Can I write in the text window?
Well, you can write, but you cannot save what you are writing in the file. Though you can activate the text you want and copy it to the clipboard (using menu command Copy) or drag it to the desktop (a text clip).
Does the windows of FB2P remember their places and sizes?
FB2P saves the place and size of the main window in the preference file, it saves the columns you want to see in the list and other options. The size of the Info window will also be saved and whether it was open or not when you quit FB2P last time. If the Option window was open, or if it wasn't, when you quit FB2P the last time, is saved, too.
